There are many great things about UV tanning.

Whilst the warm feeling of UV rays upon your body is obvious, many of us are not aware of the true benefits that tanning can have on our Health and lives. We need regular exposure to sunlight on our skin so that we can make Vitamin D, which is vital for health. Casual exposure to the sun does not provide enough Vitamin D in the British Isles, and the majority of the population suffers from a Vitamin D deficiency, especially in the months from September to April.

We undertake the following as a commitment to our clients:

• We require all staff to undertake rigorous training, which has been specifically developed for The Sun Studio to incorporate all aspects of the business, including customer care, skin type analysis etc. Ongoing training enables our staff to refresh and maintain their confidence when providing advice to our clients.

• Equipment is maintained and re-tubed well in advance of the manufacturer’s recommendations.

• Equipment, tubes, and lotions are continuously tested, enabling us to stock and use only the best in the industry.

• Hygiene—Our salon is regularly checked to ensure it complies with strict hygiene standards, which are maintained at all times.

• We are open evenings and weekends, providing accessible appointment times.

• Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

• We are members of the Sunbed Association and, therefore, operate under a strict code of conduct that allows our clients to use our facilities in a safe environment.

• We ensure your course of UV tanning is regulated with technology so over-exposure does not occur.
